The Myles Garrett is making some explosive allegations against Mason Rudolph a week after their brawl on ‘Thursday Night Football’.

Last week, Garrett was suspended indefinitely after he infamously swung his helmet at Rudolph during last Thursday’s game between the Browns and the Steelers

Garrett is currently appealing the length of his suspension and during his hearing he claims that Rudolph called him a racial slur right before the brawl broke out.

In an appeal hearing with the NFL on Wednesday, Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett alleged that Mason Rudolph called him a racial slur just prior to last week’s brawl on “Thursday Night Football,” sources told ESPN’s Josina Anderson and Adam Schefter

Garrett made the allegation as part of his initial comments during the appeal hearing in New York, sources said. It created an argumentative exchange between both sides about whether the allegation was permissible to be used in the appeal at that time.

When the allegation was made, appeals officer James Thrash remained stoic and took copious notes, sources said. He did ask Garrett a question about how he might act differently in the future, and Garrett conveyed he would not let events escalate like that again in the future.

Rudolph’s attorney immediately denied Garrett’s allegations.

While speaking to the media on Wednesday, Rudolph denied saying anything to Garrett that would have escalated the situation.

Definitely didn’t say anything that escalated it but as I said I have to do a better job of keeping my composure in those situations and I think it was an unfortunate situation for both teams involved

Update: Rudolph is vehemently denying saying the slur to his teammates.

Update #2. Apparently Garrett’s claims fell on deaf ears because the NFL and NFLPA upheld Garrett’s indefinite suspension.
