NASCAR Stars Bubba Wallace And Ryan Blaney Trade Twitter Jabs In Back And Forth Roast Fest

Ryan Blaney and Bubba Wallace are the best of friends.

But that didn’t stop the two NASCAR Cup Series stars from throwing haymakers at one another over Twitter on Tuesday.

It all started when Blaney, who is one of eight drivers remaining in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, had his penalty from Sunday’s race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway rescinded.

“P Illegal Shock yesterday,” Wallace tweeted Monday, in reference to Blaney’s penalty.

He then posted a GIF of Stanley Hudson from The Office rolling his eyes in response to the penalty being overturned.

To which Blaney replied “Just remembered you were on vacation last year during Miami, are you excited to go back?”

His clap back was in reference to Wallace missing last year’s race at Homestead-Miami Speedway due to a suspension for intentionally wrecking Kyle Larson.

Wallace wasn’t done, however.

“Ah yes. Learned a lot of what NOT to do that weekend. Prepped and ready to go,” he tweeted back, including a video of Blaney spinning out at Miami in last year’s race.

Then things seemed to take another step up.

“Ah yes. Good view from the couch I’m sure. You learned of what NOT to do 2 weekends in a row. Look at you learning,” Blaney sniped back.

Wallace then landed what seemed to be a hammer blow.

“War room*. But yes all of what you’re saying is correct. You’re on a roll, like normal! We’re all waiting for the choke moment tho…like normal,” he wrote.

Blaney tried to clarify that the two were just joking around…

But the jokes kept escalating.

“Hell you choked last* round. So now I’m trying to learn of what NOT to do from you. How crazy this world is,” Blaney tweeted.

“If your team doesn’t end up with a breath mint sponsor after this week from kissing NASCARs a**…epic choke moment,” Wallace clapped back.

Ultimately, the roast session seemed to die down. But there’s still plenty of week left before the race…
