The NBA Playoffs are here.

The play-in portion of the postseason is set to tip off on Tuesday with two major matchups coming between a pair of No. 7 and No. 8 ranked teams in the standings.

From the East, the Cavaliers will take on the Nets as both look to keep their hopes of a championship run alive. A game between the Clippers and Timberwolves from the Western Conference will follow after.

The winners of those 7/8 matchups will be safely in the playoff field, landing the official No. 7 seed to take on the No. 2 seed in their respective bracket.

On Wednesday, the 9/10 matchups will be played. We’ll see the Hornets and Hawks in the East, and the Spurs and Pelicans in the West.

The loser of the 7/8 game will play the winner of the 9/10 game for a chance at the No. 8 overall seed. The winner of this final play-in game will then have to square off against the top seeded team in their conference.

With the matchups set, opening betting lines have come out.

There’s one game, in particular, that fans are eyeing as a potential winner.

One Underdog Becoming A Popular NBA Betting Pick

The Nets open as an eight-point favorite against the Cavaliers. Brooklyn is continuing to work back to full strength, and they could be a very dangerous team in this postseason.

Kevin Durant is healthy after suffering a midseason leg injury. Kyrie Irving is back to being a full-time player, meaning he will play in this home game against the Cavs.

Ben Simmons won’t be back for the play-in round, but the Nets are hoping for a return to the court later in the playoffs.

That’s not keeping fans from backing Cleveland, though. Check out the immediate reaction to the opening line.

There appear to be more than a few Cleveland backers, despite the fact that Brooklyn went 3-1 against the Cavs in the regular season. Two of those wins came by double figures, while the only loss came without Kevin Durant in the lineup.

We’ll see how the wagers pay off for Cleveland supporters. Tip is set for 7 PM Tuesday.
