Kyrie is back in Brooklyn.

It took a while, but the superstar guard is back to being a full-time player. Prior to April, Irving was forced to sit out of Brooklyn’s home games due to a New York City mandate. That mandate was lifted during the final month of the NBA season, allowing Irving to return to the floor in games at the Barclays Center.

And boy are the Nets glad to have him back just in time for the playoffs.

In Wednesday’s play-in game against the Cavaliers, Kyrie went absolutely bonkers. He was a perfect 9-for-9 in the first half, helping Brooklyn jump out to a 57-43 halftime lead.

His second session was also impressive, with the guard finishing the night with 30 points on 12-of-15 shooting. Irving also dished out a team-high 12 assists while adding three rebounds.

Irving was perfect inside the arc, with all three of his misses coming from three-point land. He was shooting 100% from the field up until the fourth quarter.

The impressive performance had the NBA world talking.

NBA Reacts To Kyrie Irving’s HUGE Night

The NBA was talking about Kyrie’s quick start to the night. He hit his first 12 shots to help Brooklyn land a huge opening night win. Now, they’re safely in the playoff field, set to match up with the No. 2 seed, Boston.

Check out some of the reaction below.

A few NBAers chimed in, too.

While many are talking about the game, others are anticipating the matchup against the Celtics, Irving’s old team.

It should be a very entertaining series between the Celtics and Nets, particularly if Irving is able to keep up this type of performance.
