Did Sony Just Tease A New NCAA Football Game In Playstation Commercial Featuring Urban Meyer And Jim Harbaugh?

It’s been nearly four years when EA Sports announced it would no longer make its college sports video games including the insanely popular “NCAA Football” series. The announcement was made when the company was in a middle of a legal battle with former college players who alleged that the game maker and the NCAA were using their likenesses in the game without permission or compensation.

During tonight’s Wisconsin-Utah State game on ESPN, Sony released a mysterious Playstation commercial featuring Jim Harbaugh, Urban Meyer, Deshaun Watson and Joey Bosa talking about “greatness”. The commercial was extremely vague and it was unclear what Sony was selling but people are hoping it’s a new NCAA football game.

Last year, an EA exec hinted at the possible return of an NCAA football game in the near future but considering all the headaches involved that it’s still a longshot to get done.
