Earlier this week, it was reported that Travis Kelce’s family is fed up with the onslaught of media attention they have been receiving that to the tight end’s relationship with Taylor Swift.

Their biggest reported concern was the safety of Travis due to Swifties’ “passion” for the singer.

This concern manifested itself on Halloween night when Travis Kelce’s Kansas City home was decorated with crime scene tape and had a security guard posted outside to ward off any potential trick-or-treaters.

Anyone venturing up to Kelce’s house, where Taylor Swift was thought to be present, according to the Daily Mail, was told by the security guard, “Nobody’s home today.”

This did not sit well with some of the neighborhood Karens.

“Liars,” one mom told the Daily Mail.

“They’re not handing out candy, you believe that? Well, we know they’re lying. Swifty is here.”

The security officer spent the evening parked in the driveway, shooing away anyone trying to score some candy from the famous couple.

“I don’t get why he’s sitting in the car telling us nobody’s home, when clearly they are,” said another mom.

“Why don’t they just not answer the door?” she asked.

The fact is, no one actually knows if Travis and Taylor were even there.

An inside source did tell Entertainment Tonight the couple were planning on spending Halloween together.

Kelce was supposedly “planning on hosting some friends and teammates for a dinner party” – something Travis confirmed on an episode of his New Heights podcast.

“I’m pretty sure we’re gonna get the gang together and have a nice little dinner, or a nice little dinner party, I should say,” Travis said. “Like a Halloween dinner party. Everybody comes in costumes and we have a party.”

He also suggested that the dinner party would be held at a restaurant.

As for those moms who were complained publicly that Kelce and Swift didn’t hand out candy to their kids, perhaps they would be wise to heed the advice of Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
