NASCAR is coming to Netflix.

Well, sort of.

While the streaming service won’t broadcast any live events, it is releasing a new NASCAR docuseries entitled “NASCAR: Full Speed” on January 30.

Netflix released a trailer for the series on Wednesday and early returns are nothing short of incredible.

The show will feature behind the scenes footage from several races during the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season. It includes interviews with drivers, spouses and team owners in the lead up to Ryan Blaney’s championship victory in Homestead.

“NASCAR has kicked down the door to an entirely new era recently — with new tracks, cars, team owners, and stars combining to deliver some of the best competition the sport has ever seen,” NASCAR Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer Tim Clark said of the series. “Now is the perfect time to introduce people to the characters, competition and chaos that make NASCAR so compelling while still giving our most passionate fans plenty of new insights into their favorite teams and drivers.”

Blaney, Denny Hamlin, William Byron, Ross Chastain and Tyler Reddick all feature in the show which NASCAR says will explore “the physical and emotional challenges of competing for a championship at the top level of stock car racing.”
