Netflix is really making noise in the sports world lately with it’s list of docuseries already available on the streaming giant.

Quarterback has seemingly become one of the most popular shows right now and other docuseries like Drive To Survive and Full Swing crush it too.

With the Johnny Manziel series is set to release in August which should be highly anticipated as well.

But now it sounds like Netflix has plans to continue expanding their sports content with a docuseries about the US Women’s World Cup.

According to Front Office Sports, the series will follow stars Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan, and Alyssa Thompson and will have “unprecedented access as the USWNT seeks its third World Cup title in a row.” We can expect the series to be released in the fall.

Although soccer is a growing sport in America, the US Women’s team is one of the best in the world. Especially considering they have two World Cup wins under their belt.

It’s also cool that Netflix is focusing on the US Women’s World Cup team, as they are historically one of the best US based teams in the country.

So, why not give them their flowers with an inside look playing on the world’s biggest stage?

At the very least, soccer fans are through the roof with this announcement. Being able to see Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan, and Alyssa Thompson behind the scenes is going to create some great content.

Netflix definitely has a winning formula.

Soccer fans have been waiting for this.

Hulu has live sports. Will Netflix do the same?

As previously mentioned, the series is set to release in the fall.

Obviously, fans are already highly anticipating this upcoming docuseries.
