At this point in the NFL offseason, there are very few teams unsure of what their quarterback situation will be next season.

Just about every team in the league either has a veteran they are expecting to start or are about to draft their starter.

The New England Patriots are not one of those teams with certainty.

They have a veteran QB that could be their starter in Mac Jones, but they are also seemingly considering Bailey Zappe for the starting job as well.

Now it looks like they could throw another young QB into the mix.

According to Mike Giardi, some members of the Patriots have real interest in drafting Will Levis on Thursday.

The Patriots may need to be ready to prepare quite the trade package if they really want to land Will Levis in this draft.

Levis has been listed as the betting favorite to be the 2nd overall pick in the draft for a few days now and he has even closed the gap a bit on Bryce Young in the pick 1 odds.

To actually be considering Levis right now, there have to be some people that are really not happy with Mac Jones. As a rookie, he led the team to the playoffs and made the Pro Bowl.

His second year was a mess, but that may be on the organization more than the player.

It is far from a sure thing that Levis would be any better than him, but it looks like the New England Patriots could be convinced to give up on a player that showed a lot of promise just a year ago in favor of a QB that was seen as being in the 2nd tier in this draft until recently.
