There are plenty of teams around the NFL that will find themselves looking for a new quarterback this offseason.
The team who likely has the most desperate need at the position is the New York Jets.
Zach Wilson has not panned out after 2 seasons in the league and his poor play was a big part of the Jets not making the playoffs.
Luckily for the Jets, there should be plenty of options out there for them this offseason as they attempt to fix the situation.
Today, NFL insider Ian Rapoport revealed 3 quarterbacks the Jets could be interested in this offseason.

Jets coach Robert Saleh said this week they are committed to getting a veteran quarterback this offseason, priority No. 1. And my understanding is they’re going to leave no stone unturned, exploring every option. That starts with Derek Carr, probably the first quarterback to get traded — just based on his mid-February deadline for his fully-guaranteed money. Some other options to consider: Ryan Tannehill, especially if he is released, Baker Mayfield, and a couple of other veteran quarterbacks this offseason.
Interestingly, Jimmy Garoppolo wasn’t on the list even though he’d be a strong candidate to be the Jets’ starting quarterback.
However, any one of the other 3 options would also be an improvement for the Jets.
With a defense that held opponents to just 18.6 points per game despite playing in a division that featured the league’s 2nd and 11th highest-scoring offenses, any quarterback the Jets bring in would really only need to be able to manage the game to be able to get wins for the Jets.
The New York Jets should be aggressively pursuing the best QBs on the market this season to take advantage of what looks like their best roster in years.
