The rings feature just under 800 diamonds and blue sapphires totaling 22-carats, all set in white gold. Jason Arasheben of Jason of Beverly Hills is the mastermind behind these rings. In a press release, he described the hidden Madison Square Garden feature saying “a miniature re-creation of Madison Square Garden’s iconic exterior with a simple turn.” The ring itself twists and the building emerges from the ring with all of the gold and diamonds underneath popping out.

Jason spoke with PageSix, saying his New York Knicks Championship Rings were “designed to capture the team’s identity and the defining moments of its title run.”

Those custom elements that captured the essence of the team’s run include ‘Knicks In Five’ and ’10 Weeks’ emblazoned on the rings. Each ring is customized with the corresponding player’s jersey number and there is a 0.16-carat round diamond to signify the now legendary 16-point come-from-behind win in Game 5. There are also 16 emerald-cut diamonds to signify the 16 Playoffs wins en route to winning the title.

Fun fact for anyone out there with $20K burning a hole in their pocket. The New York Knicks are selling 200 replica rings to fans. Each will sell for $19,995 according to a report from FOS.

For the debut, they got Ben Stiller to narrate an incredible video that was shown inside the arena on Tuesday night:

The rings are out. A new season has begun. Can they repeat as champs? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
