In the lead up to the 2023 NFL Draft, there has been much speculation about who will be selected by the Philadelphia Eagles. One player in particular has caught the attention of several NFC teams, who are reportedly hoping that the Eagles do not draft Texas running back Bijan Robinson.

According to NFL Network’s James Palmer, multiple NFC teams have expressed concern that an already potent Eagles offense will become even more dangerous with Robinson factored in and “DO NOT” want to see him join Philly.

They believe that Robinson’s addition to the team will make the Eagles offense “beyond scary” and give them a significant advantage over their rivals.

The Eagles currently hold the 10th overall pick and the 30th overall pick in the draft, giving them a strong position to select Robinson if they choose to do so. Robinson recently told the media that the Eagles are one of only two teams he had an official visit with during the pre-draft process.

Robinson finished his college career at Texas with an impressive 3,410 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns, averaging 6.3 yards per carry. He also added 60 catches for 805 yards and 8 more scores.

While the Eagles have already signed former Seahawks first-round pick Rashaad Penny and have a solid reserve in Kenneth Gainwell, Robinson’s potential is seen as too great to pass up. He has been widely regarded as one of the top running backs in the draft class and has drawn comparisons to NFL greats such as Adrian Peterson and Ezekiel Elliott.

If the Eagles do decide to draft Robinson, it will undoubtedly give their offense a significant boost. With quarterback Jalen Hurts coming off an MVP-like season and a Super Bowl appearance, and a talented group of receivers, adding Robinson to the mix could take the Eagles to another level and make them a serious threat in the NFC for years to come.

As the draft approaches, the speculation around Robinson’s potential landing spot will only continue to grow. It remains to be seen whether the Eagles will take a chance on him, but if they do, they could be in for an exciting season ahead.
