NFL Network analyst Michael Robinson is speaking out after criticism over his comments about Jalen Hurts.
Last week, Robinson questioned if Hurts was looking for reasons not to play after he was diagnosed with a superficial blood clot.
“And I’m not saying, you know, a superficial blood clot isn’t serious. I’m not saying that. But I would advise every— all of our viewers to go Google superficial blood clot as opposed to a real blood clot. And again, I’m not a medical guy, but I’m just saying, to me, to me, it looked like Jalen is kind of getting himself out of the fray so that this lost season— He’s pulling himself out so that this doesn’t look like it’s on me.”
“Now again, guys, I don’t know nothing. But I’m just saying, they put in the statement superficial blood clot. Look it up. What is it?”
“if I’m Jalen Hurts − or anybody in Jalen Hurts’ camp − I’m saying, ‘Well if everybody’s hurt, I’m hurt, too.’ “To me, it looked like Jalen is kind of getting himself out of the fray so that this lost season..he’s pulling himself out so that this doesn’t look like it’s on me.” https://t.co/nqw8J8emov

On Monday, the Eagles announced that Hurts’ superficial blood clot developed into a pulmonary embolism, and they found blood clots in both of his lungs, leading the team to shut him down for the season.
Fans immediately called for Robinson to be fired over his comments about Hurts last week.
This is where we have gotten to with sports coverage. This was irresponsible when he said it and now it is even worse. He should be kicked off this show and the network.
