nfl best bets picks week 13

We are fast approaching the end of the 2020 regular season with just a quarter of the season left. As we risk life and limb try to hang the star on our Christmas trees, we have to remember we need to buy gifts for family members we see twice a year. So let’s make some money.

Three of the games featured have a team in the playoff hunt and one matchup between teams with identical records looking to make a statement in their conference. Spike up the egg nog and let’s look at the best games to wager on in Week 13 around the NFL.

New York Giants vs. Seattle Seahawks (-10.5)

Sunday 4:05 P.M.

The Giants seemed to be gaining some momentum and were looking like the favorites to win the dreadful NFC East, but the absence of Daniel Jones could changes things. Jones wasn’t having the best season, but he’s still a massive upgrade from Colt McCoy. The story on Seattle is their passing offense is incredible, but their passing defense is dreadful. The narrative on defense could be changing as they have gotten better over the last couple of games. It’ll be tough for the Giants to keep up with Russell Wilson using a backup quarterback. The Seahawks are going to have command throughout this game.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans (Over 50.5)

Sunday 1:P.M. EST

If this was earlier in the season, I’m taking the under in heartbeat with how good the Colts defense was and how bad Houston’s offense played. Now, entering the last quarter of the season, Deshaun Watson has been incredible, and the Indy defense has allowed 76 points in the last two games. Philip Rivers is starting to open up the passing game and the Colts have hit the over in six of their last sevens. I’m predicting this game to be a shootout.

Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears (Under 44.5)

Sunday 1:00 P.M.

The Lions just fired head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn, and the Bears will be doing the same in a few weeks. Chicago has been one of the best defenses all year, if only their offense could match them,. For Detroit, it just hasn’t been able to play well on either side of the ball on a consistent basis. This game is going to be sloppy and low-scoring.

Cleveland Browns (+5.5) vs. Tennessee Titans

Sunday 1:00 P.M. EST

These teams are very similar; they’re both 8-3, the difference in points-per-game their defenses are allowing is 0.1, and they are two of four teams who have a run play percentage of more than 50%. Both of these teams feature two of the best running backs in Derrick Henry and Nick Chubb and it’ll be exciting to watch them both try to out-do each other. The Titans are just 2-5 against the spread as favorites this season. I can’t see either of these teams breaking this game open.
