As the season winds down, the games start to get like our waistlines during the holidays; much bigger. In every game featured this week, at least one team has a potential playoff seed on the line, some actually a playoff spot. Just like the marathon of ‘Christmas Light Fight’ I’m watching, I decided to go bold and feature the best matchup of the week and one we could see be played in Tampa Bay on February 7th. Let’s look at the best games to wager on in Week 15.

Record this season: 26-27-1

Kansas City Cheifs (-3) vs. New Orleans Saints

Sunday 4:25 P.M. EST

This is the game of the week, it may even be the game of the season. It is a possible Super Bowl matchup. Patrick Mahomes is coming off a rare game in which he had three picks against Miami but still managed a victory. The Saints have been riding high with Taysom Hill at quarterback until last week and their upset loss to the Eagles. It’s another tough defensive matchup for Mahomes, but I don’t expect him to make the same mistakes as last week.

New England Patriots (+2.5) vs. Miami Dolphins

Sunday 1:00 P.M. EST

The one thing that Bill Belichick does very well is beat rookie quarterbacks, that and filming Subway commercials. He has a record of 21-5 against rookie passers and just shut down the front runner for Offensive Rookie Of The Year candidate, Justin Herbert, a couple of weeks ago. Tua had one of his best games last week, but he hasn’t been nearly as good as Herbert. I expect Tua to struggle and Cam Newton to have a bounce-back game.

Buffalo Bills vs. Denver Broncos (Under 49.5)

Saturday 4:30 P.M. EST

The Bills made a huge statement as a top AFC contender with their victory over the Steelers last week. This game is also huge for Buffalo because, with a win, they would claim their first AFC East title in 25 years. The Bills defense has played much better recently allowing under 20 points in two out of their last three games. The total for Buffalo has gone under in two out of their last three games while Denver has gone under in five of their last six.

Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings (Over 46.5)

Sunday 1:00 P.M.

This is a big game in this division rivalry, both teams sitting at 6-7 are just one game out of the final play spot in the NFC. Minnesota has some great weapons on offense with Adam Theilen, Justin Jefferson, and of course Dalvin Cook, but for Chicago, David Montgomery has been one of the best running backs over the last couple of weeks and Mitchell Trubisky has played really well with seven touchdowns in his last three games.

While the Vikings defense has been average all season, the Bears defense was one of the best earlier this season but has allowed over 30 points in two out of their last three games, something they hadn’t done all year.
