NFL officiating has already had a rough start to the season coming into week 3. And, they continued to struggle mightily when they robbed the Cleveland Browns and Amari Cooper of a possible touchdown in the second quarter of their game against the Tennessee Titans.

Take a look. Deshaun Watson finds Amari Cooper on the left sideline for a big gain, which Cooper turns into an even bigger gain by tiptoeing the sideline and eventually ending up in the end zone.

But, it was blown dead by the side judge, who ruled that Alabama product had stepped out of bounds. Problem is, he wasn’t particularly close. Take a look.

That isn’t even close! How do you miss that? And, even if you think that Amari Cooper did step out of bounds, you should let it play out, because you can always bring it back later. Just terrible officiating.

The Cleveland Browns did score on the drive, but only got a field goal out of it, when they should’ve had a touchdown.

It’s not like the Browns haven’t gotten any breaks, though. This play by Deshaun Watson was somehow recovered by Cleveland, on what should’ve been a disaster.

It’s the second week in a row that NFL officials missed a call that you absolutely cannot miss. Last week, it was a missed holding call on the winning touchdown for the Seattle Seahawks against the Detroit Lions.

Thr Browns led the Titans 13-3 at halftime.
