The List Of Walk-Up Songs At The 2018 NFL Draft Has Some Tremendously Cocky Tracks

Tonight, a number of NFL hopefuls will congregate in the green room at AT&T Stadium and hope they don’t suffer the same fate Brady Quinn did when he fell further than expected in the 2007 draft before being punished even more when he was selected by the Cleveland Browns. Things didn’t work out too well for Quinn, because the Cleveland Browns are to quarterbacks what the back of the shed is to horses at a farm.

22 prospects decided to make the trip to Arlington in the hopes of getting scooped up early on, and every player who accepted the invite was also given the option to pick what song to walk up to the stage to when (or if) they get selected. NFL.com’s Dan Hanzus got his hand on a list of each player’s walk-up song, which features some truly amazing choices:

  • Jaire Alexander: “How Bout Now”, Drake
  • Josh Allen: “Wanted Dead Or Alive”, Bon Jovi
  • Saquon Barkley: “No Promises”, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie
  • Taven Bryan: “Hail To The King”, Avenged Sevenfold
  • Bradley Chubb: “200”, Future ft. Young Thug
  • Sam Darnold: “Enter Sandman”, Metallica
  • Marcus Davenport: “Till The End”, Logic
  • Tremaine Edmunds: “Freestyle”, Lil Baby
  • Rashaan Evans: “Finally Rich”, Chief Keef
  • Minkah Fitzpatrick: “I’m Good”, Trip Lee
  • Shaq Griffin: “Do Not Disturb”, Drake
  • Derrius Guice: “God’s Plan”, Drake
  • Josh Jackson: “Hypnotize”, The Notorious B.I.G.
  • Lamar Jackson: “No Basic”, Future
  • Derwin James: “Maybach Curtains”, Meek Mill ft. Nas, John Legend, Rick Ross
  • Kolton Miller: “Glow”, Drake ft. Kanye West
  • Josh Rosen: “On Top”, Flume ft. T-Shirt
  • Roquan Smith: “God’s Plan”, Drake
  • Leighton Vander Esch: “I Know How It Feel”, Ace Hood ft. Ty Dolla $ign
  • Vita Vea: “Ain’t Goin Home”, Kamaiyah
  • Denzel Ward: “Congratulations”, Post Malone feat. Quavo
  • Connor Williams: “Devil Off My Back”, Flatland Calvary

There are some fantastic choices on here— as well as some terrible ones (I’m looking at you, Josh Allen)— but I think most reasonable people would agree the crown for the best song on the list has to go to Rashaan Evans. Everyone can learn a lesson from him when it comes to stunting on anyone who ever doubted you.
