Odell Beckham Jr’s efforts to find his next team have taken a major turn over the last week.

Fans had been expecting to see the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, and Buffalo Bills battle it out for his signature, but his meetings with those teams haven’t appeared to lead to an offer.

Instead, the big news coming out of his meetings has been concern about his injured knee. With the season quickly winding down and Odell having not even taken practice reps this season, teams aren’t sure that he’ll actually be ready in time to make an impact this season.

Despite the concerns about his knee and when he will actually be ready to play seemingly limiting interest from the 3 teams that were expected to attempt to sign him, it appears that there could be a 4th team that ends up entering the race for his signature.

NFL insider Mike Florio revealed today that he believes the Philadelphia Eagles are a team to watch as Odell looks for a new team.

The Eagles would be a surprising landing spot for Odell. The Eagles already have a pretty strong group of pass catchers with AJ Brown and Devonta Smith at receiver and Dallas Goedert expected back at tight end next week.

That could potentially make Odell their 4th option whenever he is actually ready to return and he reportedly isn’t looking for 4th option money.

With all of the question marks surrounding his recovery, it’s hard to see how he’s worth the risk for the Eagles when he doesn’t really represent a need for them.

The Philadelphia Eagles are sure to be looking at all options as they try to chase a ring, but it’s just hard to see how a move for Odell Beckham Jr would make much sense unless he’s willing to take a deal for just the rest of the season and for less money than he has reportedly been asking for.
