The big bad NFL has slammed down its iron fist of punishment once again, this time docking Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning $8,268 for taunting Houston Texans safety D.J. Swearinger in a preseason game last week.
Swearinger had just leveled Wes Welker, causing him to leave the game with a concussion.
Manning doesn’t seem overly concerned about the four-figure fine.
“I accept it. Money well spent,” he said.
You hear that, NFL? Keep coming at Peyton. He’s a big-time pizza mogul who wipes the marinara sauce off his chin with $100 bills.
He plays by his own rules, like anyone who listens to XM 60 Outlaw should.
