NFL Network’s Michael Robinson is under fire over his comments about Jalen Hurts’ medical condition.

Last week, it was revealed that Hurts would sit out indefinitely after the team found a superficial blood clot in his legs.

After the announcement, Robinson implied that Hurts was using the “superficial blood clot” as an excuse to sit out the rest of the season.

“And I’m not saying, you know, a superficial blood clot isn’t serious. I’m not saying that. But I would advise every— all of our viewers to go Google superficial blood clot as opposed to a real blood clot. And again, I’m not a medical guy, but I’m just saying, to me, to me, it looked like Jalen is kind of getting himself out of the fray so that this lost season— He’s pulling himself out so that this doesn’t look like it’s on me.”

“Now again, guys, I don’t know nothing. But I’m just saying, they put in the statement superficial blood clot. Look it up. What is it?”

On Monday, the Eagles revealed that Hurts’ superficial blood clot developed into a pulmonary embolism, and they found blood clots in both of his lungs, which led to the team shutting him down for the season.

Fans are now calling for Robinson to be fired over his insensitive comments.
