Report: Several NFL Owners Asked To Turn Over Their Cell Phones In Colin Kaepernick Collusion Case

It looks like Colin Kaepernick’s collusion case against the NFL is off to an explosive start.

According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the NFL has asked Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Texans owner Bob McNair, and Patriots owner Bob Kraft to turn over their cells phones at the request of Kaepernick’s lawyers.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Texans owner Bob McNair, amongst others, will be deposed and asked to turn over all cell phone records and emails in relation to the Colin Kaepernick collusion case against the NFL, a league source confirmed. Others owners, teams and league officials also will be deposed, but those individuals have been confirmed for now.

It will be interesting to see if these billionaire owners do indeed comply with the NFL’s request or do they end up just smashing their phones ala Tom Brady.
