NFL Draft rumors are running wild on Thursday, as teams are finalizing their draft boards.

Quarterbacks are a hot topic this offseason, as plenty of teams could use an upgrade.

One interesting prospect is Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Stetson Bennett. Although he played well in college, his draft stock continues to slip.

In fact, new NFL rumors suggest he could go undrafted in late April. Teams reportedly have “non-football concerns” about Bennett, per ESPN.

During a conversation with an NFL executive, ESPN reports, “He does some good stuff. But he might go undrafted. His pre-draft has not been good and there are questions about whether he’ll be the pro that you need out of a backup QB.”

Additionally, his public intoxication arrest isn’t doing him any favors either.

So, who knows what’s in store for Stetson Bennett? NFL teams seem to like what he can do on the field. However, his off-field issues are reportedly a giant red flag for many teams across the league.

It’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out though. Considering numerous franchises could use help at quarterback, it’s not hard to imagine a team taking a late-round flier on Bennett.

Especially if he does end up falling to the late fifth, or even sixth round. If that’s the case, why not take a chance on Stetson Bennett?

Guys taken in those rounds tend to be long shots anyway. So might as well take a chance at that point.

Even so, plenty of teams like to stay away from drama as much as possible. On top of that, doing poorly in interviews isn’t a great sign either.

Keep an eye on Bennett for now. Based on the rumors, his draft stock continues to decline.
