Seemingly, nothing ever goes right for the Cleveland Browns. The Franchise has just one playoff win since rejoining the league in 1999 after the original franchise left for Baltimore.
It feels like the team has gone through more starting quarterbacks during that time frame. But, they tried to solve that problem when they acquired and extended embattled quarterback Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans. Watson was suspended for the first 11 games this season, and the talented Browns missed the playoffs at 7-10.
It’s a really talented roster. Offensively, the team has studs Nick Chubb at running back and Amari Cooper at wide receiver. And, their offensive line is one of the best in the league, with studs Like Joel Bitonio, Jedrick Wills, Jack Conklin, and Wyatt Teller. And, a defense led by maybe the most dominant player in the league, defensive end Myles Garrett, has enough talent to be league average. But, they can never win consistently.
Now, according to a new report, the team could be moving on from one of their big stars, Nick Chubb.
Little whispers the Browns could trade Nick Chubb to heal their cap.
Explain to me how this team has tangibly improved over the last year.

Chubb might be the best running back in the NFL. He’s had at least 990 yards in all five of his NFL seasons, and has been 2nd in the rushing title race each of the past two years. The former Georgia Bulldogs is a punishing runner that meshes will with the Browns’ fantastic offensive line.
But, he’s in the middle of a 3-year, $36 million contract, quite the price tag for a running back. So, it could make sense for them to move on. But, it would be a big blow, because as far as running backs go, he’s definitely a difference-maker. NFL Free Agency begins next week.
