Nike Just Released A New Limited Edition Tour Premiere ‘Car-Nasty’ Golf Shoe For The British Open

Just like they did for the U.S. Open, Nike Golf unveiled a sick new limited edition Tour Premiere PE golf shoe, this time to celebrate The 147th Open Championship at Carnoustie in Scotland.

This particular Nike Golf Tour Premiere PE is wrapped in a bold tartan print that reflects (and respects) the pattern’s Scottish roots as the third major of the year gets underway.

Says Nike about the shoe…

“Considered one of the most difficult golf courses in the world, the Scottish links course is appropriately nicknamed ‘Car-nasty’ thanks to its exposure to heavy winds along the country’s Angus coastline, its narrow layout, and its maddeningly-placed pot bunkers; the Golf Tour Premiere PE honors the course’s rigor with “NASTY” printed on the outsole. The shoe’s secure lockdown design includes a quick-pull top strap for tightening and a tab for easy loosening.”

Limited quantities of the Nike Golf Tour Premiere PE “Car-nasty” will be available July 19 on nike.com in North America and Europe. And if they’re anything like the special limited edition golf shoes they released for the U.S. Open, they won’t be available for long.
