Fans Clown Notre Dame Podcast Host For Seemingly Pooping Himself Mid-Episode

A popular Notre Dame podcast host found himself in a bit of a stinky situation over the weekend when he rushed off camera in apparently effort to make it to the bathroom in time.

The incident in question took place on Sunday during the “Irish Breakdown” podcast as hosts Vince DeDario and Bryan Driskell discussed Notre Dame’s impressive 42-3 victory over Navy.

Mid-way through the episode, Driskell is discussing Notre Dame’s use of the run-pass option. At which point, DeDario then makes a strange face before leaning back in his chair and bolting off camera.

Driskell then continues the show by himself for a period of time before DeDario is able to return. Viewers immediately began to speculate about what happened to DeDario, with the most common suggestion being that he had to make a sudden dash for the toilet.

Now, listen, when you gotta go you gotta go. And maybe he didn’t have a say in the matter. But talk about awful timing.

At least if it were just an audio recording he could’ve edited out the segment, but video is forever.

DeDario, however, had a solid alternate explanation for his immediate exit from the show.

“I’ll be honest. I got two massive, out of nowhere, two massive cramps in my quads,” he claimed. “I was like, ‘I’m dying right now.’…I felt like I got sniped, is what it felt like.”

Now, is it possible he had horrible leg cramps? Sure, nobody was there to say for sure.

But anybody who has had leg cramps will tell you that they’re probably not standing up from a chair or moving that quickly.

But hey, credit to our boy Vince for trying to come up with something on the fly. Paul Pierce would be proud.

Though we’re not sure he’s ever living this one down either way.
