South Carolina wide receiver Nyckoles Harbor is also one of the best sprinters in the Southeastern Conference. He is 6-foot-5, 245 pounds as a true freshman and makes his competition look miniscule.

It is eye-popping to watch him run against some of the fastest track stars in the country world!

Harbor, the No. 15-ranked prospect in the college football recruiting Class of 2023, committed to the Gamecocks over 41 other offers. Maryland and Oregon were most prominently in the mix. Michigan and Alabama were not far behind.

Shane Beamer landed the top-ranked athlete in the country in part because of the track and field program in Columbia. Nyckoles Harbor is competing in both sports.

The massive 18-year-old owned personal bests of 10.20 in the 100-meter, 20.76 in the 200-meter and 6.60 in the 60-meter prior to Thursday night. He smashed his PR in the 200 during the SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships!

Harbor ran a blazing fast 20.47 to qualify for the event finals. His competition looked like small children running next to him. Many of them were left in the dust.

By finishing second in his heat, Harbor now has a chance to win an SEC title as a true freshman. The final is scheduled to go off at approximately 8:25 p.m. ET on Saturday night.

As soon as the track season ends this weekend, Harbor will turn his focus back to the gridiron.

He played both defensive end and wide receiver in high school, but the former was his primary position. Beamer decided to keep him on offense!

The highly-touted athlete played in all 12 games last season and started the final five. However, Harbor caught only 12 passes for 195 yards. It is expected that he will much-improved as a sophomore after undergoing on-the-job training in 2023.

In the meantime, an SEC title in the 200-meter is on the line!
