The Detroit Pistons have been running a fierce campaign to get fans to vote Andre Drummond into the NBA All-Star game. I mean, they really, reeeeeeeeally want you to vote for Andre Drummond. First, it was a video with President Obama rapping [not actually rapping] to “Jumpman” by Drake and Future. But sadly, that emphatic effort in editing was not enough to get Drummond to starter status.
So today, they pulled out Detroit’s biggest gun in Eminem and, along with some more superb editing, dropped this video of Obama rapping to Shady’s “Forgot About Dre.”
This is one hell of an effort put together by the Pistons’ social media team and it seems to be working, or at least helping, because Drummond is right behind Carmelo Anthony in the voting.
