On Sunday, Odell Beckham Jr. wore special cleats as a tribute to late TNT sideline reporter Craig Sager who passed away from Leukemia last week. Beckham plans to auction off the shoes and will donate the proceeds to the Sager Strong foundation.
Today, Beckham revealed the he was fine $18k by league while commenting on a on an Instagram post by DeSean Jackson, who was also complaining about being fined by the NFL for wearing colorful cleats to honor Sager.
Maybe Odell Beckham was right. The league clearly showed it has a double standard by not fining Ezekiel Elliott for his Salvation Army celebration but is okay with fining the Giants star wide receiver for this.
