Attention members of the Tin Foil Hat Society (except for you Mr. Rodgers). An official NFL game preview video claims the Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end’s name is now “Travis Swift-Kelce.”
Now, there have been all sort of rumors flying around claiming that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are getting serious. Some even claim that wedding bells are in their not so distant future. But they didn’t secretly get married did they? Maybe that’s why he didn’t play in Week 18? And he hasn’t hyphenated his last name, right?
The last thing I had heard was that Travis Kelce was trying to figure out what to do for his first Valentine’s Day with T-Swizzle.
At least according to an ad read he and his brother Jason Kelce did on a recent episode of their New Heights podcast.
“With both of us playing in the NFL for so many years, we’ve learned a thing or two about competition,” Travis said on Wednesday’s show. “But when it comes to finding the perfect game winning gift for Valentine’s Day, Etsy is the real MVP.”
He would later add, “Whether you’re feeling the Valentine’s Day pressure like Jason and I, or trying to figure out the right gift for a significant other, Etsy is the go-to destination for adding that special touch.”
So I guess Taylor Swift can expect to get something like homemade scarves for her cats or something for Valentine’s Day? What happened to “money is no object” and all that?
Naturally, because NFL, I can’t actually embed the video here of them calling him “Travis Swift-Kelce,” but I can link to it.
Also, because internet, there’s this thing called X (formerly called Twitter) in which tons of people share videos including the clip where the NFL refers to the Miami Dolphins having to defend “Travis Swift-Kelce” this weekend.

On the plus side for Travis and Taylor, even if the Chiefs make the Super Bowl, he will be done playing after Feb. 11 and she has five days off from her Eras Tour that week so they can celebrate together.
