An Ohio bar owner is facing some Internet backlash after he went viral for his decision to ban NBA games from his bar due to his views on LeBron James.

Earlier this week, Jay Linneman, owner of Cincinnati’s Linnie’s Pub alerted patrons they needed to go elsewhere if they wanted to watch NBA games. The bar owner has banned NBA games from being shown at his bar until the league decides to kick LeBron out of the league after the Lakers’ star targeted a Columbus police officer in a highly controversial tweet.

Linneman went on to add that he believes NBA players “just need to play the game and that’s it” and “their opinion doesn’t really matter.”

LeBron responded to the bar owner with a sarcastic tweet on Saturday afternoon.

After the news of the bar owner’s decision to ban NBA games went viral, people began flooding the bar’s Yelp page with one-star reviews.
