One Oklahoma Sooner fan made the trip to Eugene this weekend to take in the Oregon vs. USC game. She was heard shouting at head coach Lincoln Riley as he made his way to the locker room.

It seems OU fans still can’t let go.

Riley brought his team to Autzen Stadium on Saturday looking to knock off the sixth-ranked Ducks in PAC 12 action. It’s been a somewhat disappointing season for the head coach in Los Angeles.

Despite returning the reigning Heisman trophy winner under center, the Trojans are just 7-4 after 11 games.

College Football Playoff hopes have long been dashed with the team losing four of its last five games. As the losses continue to pile up, Riley’s seat grows warmer.

Uncertainty has surrounded his tenure at USC, with some believing Riley’s sights are already set on an NFL gig. Of course, if you ask Oklahoma fans, that’s no surprise.

The former Sooners coach bolted from Norman just two seasons ago despite having led the program to four 11-win seasons in five years. Twisting the knife further, he took with him freshman phenom Caleb Williams, leaving the cupboard bare for new coach Brent Venables under center.

OU has rebounded nicely after its 6-7 campaign in 2022, getting off to an 8-2 start with a win over Texas this year.

Still, the Sooners can’t find it in their hearts to forgive Lincoln Riley for his quick exit.

Oklahoma fans are taking a victory lap upon seeing the struggles of their former head coach. Before the year, Riley said that those Sooners have been ruthlessly harassing his family since he left.

It doesn’t look like the fanbase plans on stopping.

“Boomer Sooner, you traitor!” the fan shouted in Riley’s direction as he made his way to the locker room.

“You got it, sweetheart,” he responded.

It wasn’t her first shot at coach. The same fan was also videoed shouting at Riley before the matchup started.

While a number of OU supporters were seen praising her actions, rival fans thought it was a bad look.

It might be time to move on.
