Oklahoma may have just run the dumbest play of the season.
In the second quarter of the Texas-OU game, the Sooners appeared to be clicking on offense and were finally marching up the field by running the ball against the Longhorns.
While in the red zone, Oklahoma bizarrely decided to run a jump pass play while in the wildcat that was easily picked off by the Texas defense.

College football fans immediately ripped Sooners to shreds over the play call.
“Oklahoma player: Coach, we’re having some success with just ignoring our quarterback and just having our running back, wide receivers, tight ends and water boys take direct snaps and run it straight at Texas. What do you want to call here.
Oklahoma OC: Pop pass.”

“The worst pop pass play in history Texas whopping Oklahoma I wonder what the biggest defeat in Red River Rivalry history is?”

OU running the ball down the field with Willis and Gray, but try a pop pass from Willis and he throws into a crowd and it is picked up. OU drove the ball down the UT 20, but are foiled again. OU can't pass the ball and in this day and age it is almost impossible to win that way.
