The Oklahoma State mascot went viral over the weekend after being spotted on the dance floor at a couple’s wedding. Photos and video clips of Pistol Pete’s appearance have now surfaced online.

This is a somewhat common occurrence amongst major football fans. For those wanting to show off their school pride, mascots often make special appearances as wedding reception entertainment.
In Oklahoma State’s case, an official request form can be filled out online at the cost of $100 per 30-minute appearance plus a travel fee.
Maybe it’s where the couple met. Maybe they share a love of attending sporting events in Stillwater. Whatever the case, Pistol Pete was on the pair’s invite list, and he didn’t disappoint.
The mascot was seen living his best life while interacting with guests, and he instantly went viral by getting down on the dance floor.

Fans and followers were quick to react.
“TO THE WINDOWS TO THE WALL!!” the Sickos Committee account posted.
“This is what taking a gummy feels like,” said Jessica Smetana of the Dan Le Batard Show.
“Better moves than the team,” this fan wrote.
Pistol Pete hasn’t had much to cheer for thus far in the football season with the Cowboys losing their last two games. After starting the year 2-0, OSU has fallen to South Alabama and Iowa State in consecutive weeks.
In the loss to South Alabama, the Cowboys actually paid $300k to be beaten on their home field.
The Oklahoma State mascot had a bit more to celebrate at this wedding, and he was certainly the guest of the evening.
