Olivia Dunne set fire to TikTok yet again over the weekend, this time thanks to a new video showing her donning tight, short shorts while doing a dance routine set to Usher’s “OMG.”
There’s no denying that Dunne, 20, is an absolute superstar these days.
The LSU gymnast has nearly eight million followers on the popular social media platform and is currently dating Pittsburgh Pirates prospect Paul Skenes, the No. 1 pick in the 2023 MLB Draft.

“There’s just so many different places that people follow me from,” Olivia Dunne said of her ever-growing fan base on the “Full Send Podcast“. “Like TikTok, there’s people from Sports Illustrated, there’s people that have been following my career for such a long time, it’s hard to satisfy everyone’s needs. I just feel like if you follow me for the gymnastics then awesome. But also, there’s new eyes on me that maybe don’t really care that much about the gymnastics but potentially could start watching the sport which is really cool to me.
“Bringing in a new audience, and new eyes to the sport, which is sick.”
But it hasn’t always been easy.
Olivia Dunne’s Stardom Comes With Its Drawbacks
Dunne can no longer attend classes in person at LSU due to her popularity and the Tigers gymnastics team now travels with its own security detail.
“There were some scares in the past, and I just want to be as careful as possible. I don’t want people to know my daily schedule and where I am,” she said in an interview with Elle magazine.
Still, that hasn’t dimmed Dunne’s star. Her latest viral video already has nearly 500,000 likes in just two days and thousands of comments.
Dunne is perhaps the biggest star in college sports today, regardless of gender. And fans are just going to have to get used to that reality.
