The 30-year-old has over 3.5 million followers on Instagram. To put that in perspective, men’s golf world number one Scottie Scheffler has just over 500,000. In fact, she may very well be the most-followed golfer in the world.
Yes, a lot of that is due to her exceptionally good looks and girl-next-door appeal. But, in her day, she was quite the player. Paige Spiranac played division I golf at Arizona and San Diego State. After transferring out from Arizona, she starred at San Diego State and was named all Mountain West two months in a row.
Ultimately, she decided she wasn’t cut out for the grind of pro golf, especially at a lower level than the LPGA Tour. But, she’s made a lot of money on social media and in the golf media scene, due in large part to pictures like the one she posted Tuesday. Take a look.
