When you think of influencers in the sports world today, there are perhaps no bigger names than Paige Spiranac and the Cavinder Twins.

Spiranac rose to fame after her college golf career when she became the “OG golf girl” on Instagram.

While the Cavinder Twins used Tik Tok to become perhaps the biggest starts in women’s college basketball.

The twins then leveraged that fame to start their own podcast on Jake Paul’s Betr network.

Recently, Spiranac joined Hanna and Haley on their “Twin Talk” podcast and addressed a number of topics. One of which was how she responds to haters who constantly critique the way she dresses.

“I kind of read that you sometimes bark back at people’s hate comments. Kind of touch on how you deal with that,” Spiranac was asked.

She didn’t hold back in her response.

“I want to be taken seriously as a professional golfer and no matter what I did, no matter what I posted, I get hate,” she began. “And there was one time where I wore a full turtleneck and leggings. I was completely covered head to toe and people were upset with my outfit. When that happened I said ‘Okay, well I’m just gonna do what I wanna do and I’m gonna wear what I wanna where and if people like it, great. If they dislike it, okay, great.'”

Spiranac clearly isn’t fazed. And whatever she’s doing is obviously working.

She boasts over 3.9 million followers on Instagram. That’s 600,000 more (give or take) than Tiger Woods.

Meanwhile, the Cavinders have followed in her footsteps, building up an impressive following of their own. The twins have just 310,000 followers on Instagram. But that pails in comparison to the 4.5 million followers they have on Tik Tok.
