Pat McAfee Got Choked Out By Gunther On WWE’s ‘Raw After Mania’ And Turned Tomato Red

WWE commentator Pat McAfee choked out by Gunther on Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania

ESPN and WWE commentator Pat McAfee was front and center on Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 41 and probably got more involved in the action than he would have liked. McAfee found himself getting choked out by Gunther, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion.

Real ones know that Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania always brings out some fireworks as WWE seeks to keep the action going every year while they have wrestling fans all jacked up from ‘Mania still. And that was the case on Monday night.

If we’re being real here, I think we all know there are elements of in-authenticity to WWE but the color of Pat McAffe’s face as he’s being choked out by Gunther tells us everything we need to know about how ‘real’ this choke hold was.

WrestleMania 41 has been huge for McAfee. He was at the heart of the action all weekend, had Paul Heyman on his ESPN show on Monday where Heyman threw a low blow at Shannon Sharpe, and had John Cena on the show praising Logan Paul as “a stud.”

Was Pat McAfee full choked out by Gunther? That remains to be seen. He could have been acting. It would seem in the best interest of WWE and ESPN that McAfee acted that part out after Gunther held tight enough to turn Pat the color of a Minnesota spring breaker in Florida who just spent 8 hours on the beach without sunblock. But we’ll never know for sure, will we? Or perhaps Pat McAfee is just naturally red like that all the time…

McAfee had The Rock on his daily ESPN show on Tuesday as the list of major celebrities continued:

One has to wonder how long it will be before we see Pat back in the ring…
