Pat McAfee isn’t backing down from his beef with ESPN exec Norby Williamson.

On Friday during the Pat McAfee Show, McAfee accused Williamson of trying to “sabotage” his show by leaking unfavorable ratings to the NY Post before they were released.

“There are some people actively trying to sabotage us from within ESPN,” McAfee said. “More specifically I believe Norby Williamson is the guy who is attempting to sabotage our program.”

ESPN defended Williamson following McAfee’s comment and appeared interested in trying to broker peace between the two.

“No one is more committed to and invested in ESPN’s success than Norby Williamson,” an ESPN spokesperson said in a statement. “At the same time, we are thrilled with the multi-platform success that we have seen from the Pat McAfee Show across ESPN. We will handle this matter internally and have no further comment.”

On Monday, McAfee doubled down on his criticism of Williamson and said he doesn’t take back anything he said while implying the ESPN exec is an “old hag” who doesn’t understand what the future looks like.

“There’s a transition era between the old and the new, and the old don’t like what the new be doing…there are certainly people we do not like, and they do not like us, and that’s how it’s going to be, and I don’t take back anything that I said about said person, .but the overall storyline between us and ESPN is that we’re strong…and we all understand what the future looks like there are just some old hags that potentially don’t.”

CNBC has already reported that ESPN doesn’t plan to punish McAfee over his comments about Williamson, but it’ll be interesting to see what happens if he continues to attack the ESPN exec on air.
