The Pitt football team is prepping for an ACC battle with Syracuse this week with hopes of staying unbeaten. The task will be a tall one thanks to the Orange’s offensive firepower.

QB Kyle McCord leads a potent passing attack, which currently ranks second in the conference in yardage. Pat Narduzzi is upset that he’s not still in Columbus!

McCord transferred over the offseason after Ryan Day refused to guarantee him the starting job at Ohio State. The Buckeyes eventually replaced him with Will Howard from Kansas State, while McCord wound up at Syracuse.

Narduzzi thinks Day was wrong for letting him slip away!

“I’m not sure what happened at Ohio State, but I wish he’d go back,” the coach said on a Sirius XM radio appearance. “I’m gonna call Ryan Day and yell at him.”

Kyle McCord is the nation’s second-leading passer at 360 yards per game. Ohio State, meanwhile, saw its starting signal caller commit a game-sealing blunder in its most recent loss to Oregon.

Would the Buckeyes prefer a do-over? That’s up for debate.

Either way, Pat Narduzzi believes that McCord’s one of the top passers in the country. The stats certainly back that assertion up!

Syracuse is glad to have him under center, and he’ll soon lead the 5-1 Orange into Acrisure Stadium with major ACC Championship implications on the line.

Narduzzi says it will be must-see TV!

The Panthers will do their best to slow Kyle McCord down and continue on their undefeated path. The game is set to kick off Thursday night at 7:30 PM.
