The world was stunned when the video of Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole surfaced. It’s not a great look for the Golden State Warriors whatsoever. Now, Patrick Beverley, who is known for his aggressive style of play, weighs in on the situation and makes his opinion on the matter clear.
Patrick Beverley Thinks Draymond Green Is In The Wrong For Punching Jordan Poole
In the first episode of Beverley’s new podcast, the LA Lakers guard gave his two cents on the situation going on with Golden State. Apparently, he had been a guest on Draymond Green’s podcast just hours before the incident. However, in the end, Patrick Beverley couldn’t help but side with Jordan Poole.

Arguing and getting into a confrontation is one thing but throwing a legitimate punch is another. It’s become a growing issue for the Warriors, as it’s unclear what the future holds for the organization. Do they trade Draymond Green? Do they trade Jordan Poole? Or do they let it all slide? Golden State has found itself in a pickle. But at the very least, it’s nice to know that Patrick Beverley isn’t a fan of teammates coming to blows.
That should at least put Lakers fans at ease, as many were concerned with the front office teaming Beverley up with Russell Westbrook. Despite that, it seems as though the Warriors are the ones with locker-room drama instead.
We’ll see how it all plays out. For now, we’ll just sit back and listen in on everyone’s take on the issue. We should continue hearing more and more takes on the punch heard around the world.
