After an old Instagram video of LeBron James praising Diddy’s parties went viral, NFL star Patrick Mahomes is taking measures to make sure he doesn’t find himself in a similar situation.

In the days since Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided in connection to a federal sex trafficking investigation, Mahomes has deleted old tweets about Diddy, both of which were from 2014.

The tweets from Mahomes came from when he was a freshman at Texas Tech, so it’s unclear if he even knew Diddy at the time of the tweets, let alone if he does today.

Compared to LeBron proudly proclaiming that there “Ain’t no party like a Diddy party” just a few years ago, Mahomes tweets about Diddy from a decade ago are obviously harmless.

The Department of Homeland Security raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami while investigating alleged sex trafficking on Monday, March 25. Diddy was not home at the time of the raids and was spotted at the Miami–Opa Locka Executive Airport.

At this time, the 54-year-old rapper and producer’s whereabouts are unknown.

Diddy, real name Sean Combs, first came onto the scene in the 1990s as Biggie’s manager before releasing his first studio album No Way Out in 1997.

Mahomes, 28 years old, is coming off of the third Super Bowl title of his career after he and the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers (via overtime) in Super Bowl LVIII.
