After a resounding 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed he felt pressure to perform because pop superstar Taylor Swift was attending.

The revelation came during a post-game interview with FOX’s Erin Andrews, shedding light on the unique inspiration that led to Mahomes connecting with Travis Kelce for a touchdown.

“Yeah, I heard she was in the house,” Mahomes confessed with a grin when asked about Swift’s presence at the game.

The potential  superstar couple, Kelce and Swift, had been making headlines with their budding romance.

Mahomes continued, “I felt a little bit of pressure. So I knew I had to give it to Trav.” He playfully added, “I think he wanted to get into the end zone just as much as all the other Swifties wanted him to.”

Swifties, the affectionate nickname for Taylor Swift’s devoted fanbase, were undoubtedly thrilled to witness the on-field chemistry between Kelce and Mahomes.

The Chiefs dominated the Bears throughout the game, leading 34-0 at halftime, which allowed the star quarterback and tight end to rest for most of the second half.

Mahomes ultimately finished the game with three touchdown passes, zero interceptions, and 272 passing yards, while Kelce contributed with seven catches for 69 yards and the aforementioned touchdown.

The Chiefs’ defense also played a pivotal role in the team’s success, as they continued their impressive season-long performance, allowing an average of just 11 points per game through three games this season.

With a convincing victory and an extra touch of star power from Taylor Swift’s presence, the Kansas City Chiefs are shaping up to be a formidable force in the NFL this season.
