The New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys, and New York Jets are all looking at making a possible move at the running back position, according to The Athletic’s Jeff Howe.

The Patriots remain high in their interest of Pro-Bowl free-agent Ezekiel Elliott.

The Cowboys, Elliott’s former team, are also “in the mix” to re-sign the veteran., aiming to maintain his presence on their roster.

Simultaneously, the New York Jets have entered the race for Ezekiel Elliott’s services, and have also shown interest in the 28-year old, according to Howe.

While the Jets have been in on Elliott, they have shown significant interest in another talented free-agent running back, Dalvin Cook.

On a related note, the New England Patriots, who had initially displayed peripheral interest in Dalvin Cook, appear to be veering away from pursuing him any further. League sources indicate to Howe that the Patriots are no longer considering Cook as a potential addition to their roster, narrowing their focus on other options.
