Free agent running back, Dalvin Cook, is becoming the center of attention among NFL teams.

With training camps in full swing, the market for the four-time Pro Bowler is heating up, with two notable teams, the New York Jets and the New England Patriots, vying for his services.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that Cook and the Patriots are talking about setting up a possible visit to New England in addition to his visit with the Jets.

Despite the Patriots’ reputation for being prudent in their free-agent pursuits, they have demonstrated consistent interest in Cook since his release from the Minnesota Vikings in June.

The addition of Cook to the Jets’ roster could be a significant boost to their offense and provide much-needed support to their second-year running back, Breece Hall, who is returning from a torn ACL sustained last October.

The statistics speak volumes about Cook’s prowess on the field. Over the past four seasons, he has consistently rushed for over 1,100 yards annually, establishing himself as a top-tier running back.

Not only is he a formidable rusher, but he has also proven to be an offensive juggernaut, scoring an impressive total of 48 touchdowns during that period.

At just 27 years old, Cook is entering the prime of his career, which only adds to his allure for teams in search of a solution at the running back position.
