Paul Heyman got extremely emotional during the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. On Friday night, Paul Levesque, better known as Triple H, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a solo wrestler.
During his speech, Levesque thanks Vince McMahon for paving the way for him.
“It’s a complicated story and a complicated relationship, but in so many ways, I would not be here without him,” Levesque said. “He’s the one who saw something in me creatively.”
Levesque would later become emotional while speaking about Heyman, and both men got teary-eyed.
“Last year, at your Hall of Ceremony, I sat behind you, admiring your wonderful ass. You said sometimes a man just has to accept reality, but I don’t believe that. Sometimes you have to say f— that, and you gotta create your own. You helped me learn that. Paul has a Hall of Fame ring on his hand, and inside that ring I had inscribed, consigliere.”
