LSU seemingly had more sports stars on their campus during the 2022-2023 school than any other college. Livvy Dunne, Dylan Crews, Harold Perkins Jr., Jaydin Daniels, Angel Reese, and Paul Skenes made up quite the group of notable Tiger athletes.
And, there’s now some evidence that would lend credence to rumors that Livvy Dunne and Paul Skenes are in some sort of romantic relationship.
Of course, Livvy Dunne, a gymnast for the LSU gymnastics team, is an absolute pop culture icon. She boasts over 10 million followers on social media platforms, posed in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and has major brand deals as she thrives in the NIL marketplace.
You may be unfamiliar with the name Paul Skenes if you’re not a baseball fan. But, he looks like a future star. After spending two seasons at Air Force, the pitcher transferred to LSU in a move that definitely paid off. He was 13-2 with a 1.69 ERA and had 209 strikeouts in 129.2 innings. Skenes helped LSU win a national title, where he was named the College World Series’ Most Outstanding Player. He was also named National Player of the Year, and the Pittsburgh Pirates selected him first overall in the 2023 MLB Draft in early July.
So, what’s the connection? Well, Dunne has made numerous TikToks about liking baseball players, and she was in Omaha for most of the Tigers’ run to the title. Rumors of the two dating really sparked over the weekend, though, when Dunne posted pictures of herself in Florida on snapchat wearing Pirates gear. Paul Skenes has reported to Bradenton, Florida, where the Pirates hold Spring Training and host prospects prior to assignments.

Now, who knows, maybe the New Jersey native being on the Florida coast wearing Pirates gear while Skenes trains nearby is just a coincidence. Or, maybe it’s not. If they are indeed an item, they will instantly be one of the biggest power couples in sports.
