Paulie Malignaggi Quits Conor McGregor’s Camp Over Leaked Pictures, Says He ‘Beat Conor’s A**’ In Sparring

Former boxing champ Paulie Malignaggi is no longer going to be training with Conor McGregor. Earlier tonight, someone one McGregor’s team leaked this picture of Malignaggi getting knocked down to the ground during a sparring session with Conor with the caption “that Oh My God” power which references an interview the boxer gave Jim Rome where he said that he didn’t feel McGregor “had Oh my God power”.

Malignaggi took to Twitter to blast McGregor and his team for releasing the picture and claims that Conor pushed him to the ground and did not knock him down.

Malignaggi later posted this Instagram post announcing that he was leaving McGregor’s camp over the leaked picture incident. .

I wanted to be part of this event, but I didn’t want to become the story, and that’s what this has turned into,” Malignaggi told ESPN by phone Thursday night. “I won’t release any information about his game plan or what he’s working on — I wouldn’t do that. But this has become a fiasco. It’s a circus.

“And I do want that sparring video released. The UFC’s PI definitely has that video. I understand it can’t come out now, but Conor, if you have any balls, release what really happened.”

It seems like McGregor and his team were pissed at Malignaggi for talking to the media all week long about their sparring sessions and are trying to embarrass the former boxer with these pictures. What a fucking circus.
