Show of hands… how many of you out there in internet-land were aware that 34-year-old Paulina Gretzky had a younger sister?
Based on her social media numbers, not many folks out there are aware of Wayne Gretzky’s youngest daughter Emma.
While Paulina is married to two-time Major champion Dustin Johnson and has 1.1 million followers on Instagram, Emma only has around 25,000.
Of course, Emma is just 20-years-old so she’s got plenty of time to catch up with her older sister.
Emma Gretzky, who plays tennis at Southern Methodist University, appears to be enjoying her summer at the family’s compound in the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho area, according to her latest Instagram pics.
Emma, however, unlike her more famous sister Paulina, doesn’t appear to be very interested in the social media game.
She only has 21 photos posted to her Instagram account since June 1, 2021 – a very low number for someone her age.
Not that Emma needs the money. Her dad Wayne Gretzky and mom, former actress Janet Jones, have a net worth of around a quarter of a billion dollars.
Back in May, Emma’s mom Janet posted a photo of her with the caption, “Congratulations Emelie aka Emma on a great successful sophomore year at SMU !!!!! We are all so Proud of you !!!”
According to the SMU tennis website, Emma, who will be a junior this fall, went 1-3 this past season as the Mustangs went 16-9 overall as a team.
She “competed in four singles matches during the fall season, including a three set victory against Tarleton in the TCU Hidden Dual.”
Emma also “competed in nine doubles matches with partner Cambelle Bouchard… Clinched the doubles point on court No. 3 with a 6-4 victory over Richmond.”
She also lists her hometown on the website as St. Louis, Missouri, which might seem odd to some, but Wayne and family moved there in 2021 to be close to Janet’s mother, who was 100 years old at the time.
