After Anthony Davis wore a “That’s All Folks” shirt before the Pelicans final game of the season many assumed his time in New Orleans was done.

New Pelicans Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations David Griffin spoke to the media today and revealed that his intent is to talk to Davis to try to convince him to stay in New Orleans.
Griffin says he has not talked with Anthony Davis directly as of yet. Has spoken with Rich Paul. There is a set time for him and AD to speak coming up soon.

Considering Davis sounded pretty hurt on The Shop when he talked about how fans turning him during the season I would say there’s zero chance he returns to New Orleans next season.
Griffin is a smart guy and has a tough job in trying to max out trade value for a disgruntled player who is intent on leaving but it seems like he has a package in mind.
