Peyton and Eli Manning announced their 2023 NFL season “Manningcast” broadcasting schedule on Tuesday with a hilarious, star-studded video.
On Monday, Peyton Manning hinted on Instagram that he and Eli would be adding a third host to the show.
It turns out that the Manning bros had no shortage of potential hosting candidates.
Jared Goff, Justin Fields, Kirk Cousins, Sean Payton, Jim Irsay, Trevor Lawrence, Justin Tucker, Dan Campbell, Mike McDaniel, Ray Lewis, Sean McVay, Olivia Dunne, Christian McCaffrey, DJ Khaled, Mike Tyson, Howie Mandel, Lil Wayne, Will Arnett, Kenan Thompson, Sarah Silverman, Stephen A. Smith, Kyle Brandt, Al Michaels, Pat McAfee, and Tom Brady were all among the many folks who were “interviewed” for the job.
Patrick Mahomes, however, wasn’t so lucky.
On the plus side for Mahomes, he will get to be a guest on the show. Other stars that will be joining the Manning boys this season include Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Joe Burrow and Jalen Hurts.
Stick around to the end for Tom Brady’s appearance.
So there will not be a third host after all. Probably for the best.
Here’s the full 10-date “Manningcast” schedule for the 2023 NFL season on ESPN. Only the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs will be on the show twice, but with Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes on those teams that isn’t all that surprising.
